I am currently a PhD student in the CIMA Lab, Department of Statistics at North Carolina State University (NCSU), under the co-advisement of Professors Shu Yang and Larry Han. My research interests include:

  • Causal inference, conformal prediction and missing data analysis
  • Data integration and efficiency gain on different causal parameter estimations
  • HIV/AIDS case study using quantitative methods
  • Win theory and statistics for composite endpoints in clinical trials

I am funded by the NHLBI T32 training grant for cardiovascular disease (CVD) research (NCSU, Duke & Duke Clinical Research Institute). In the summer of 2024, I was an intern in the Quantitative Methods Internship in HIV/AIDS Research, Duke University, funded by the NIAID R25 training grant.

Previously, I earned my Master of Biostatistics degree from the Department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics, Duke University School of Medicine in 2022, under the guidance of Professor Roland Matsouaka. During this time, I developed a keen interest in propensity score methods, which ignited my journey into causal inference. More previously, I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from Southeast University in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, China in 2020.

I was born in Qianxi, Guizhou Province, China, and had the privilege of spending three enriching years at No.1 High School of Guiyang before commencing my college education.
